About Dr. Abraham Brass

Abraham Brass, MD, PhD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist serving at Peak Gastroenterology Associates, with six locations in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Salida, Denver, Woodland Park, and Parker, Colorado.

Dr. Brass obtained his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Illinois and his postgraduate doctoral degree from the University of Chicago, in 2001. After a short-track residency in internal medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, he completed his clinical training in gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. While there, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the genetics department of the Brigham and Women's Hospital. 

Dr. Brass is a standout physician, with awards and honors that include the Child Health Research Award from the Charles H. Hood Foundation in Boston for helping improve the health and quality of life for children through grant support of New England-based pediatric researchers. He was also honored by the Investigators in Pathogenesis of Infectious Disease, Burroughs Wellcome Fund program in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
