About Dr. Scot Lewey

Scot Lewey, DO, takes a whole-body approach to his medical work, helping to achieve excellent care outcomes for his patients. He is happy to be a member of the Peak Gastroenterology Associates team serving the communities of Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Salida, Denver, Woodland Park, and Parker, Colorado. Dr. Lewey is an expert in celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity. 

Dr. Lewey attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He then went on to complete a residency at Womack Army Hospital in North Carolina and William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He also completed a fellowship at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Lewey is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and gastroenterology. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lewey continues to conduct research and educate medical students through his role as Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. 

Dr. Lewey has authored countless publications as well as several chapters in the book “Cereal Killers: Celiac Disease and Gluten Free A-Z.” He also retains “Fellow” status at several professional societies and has been voted a Top Doc by Colorado Springs Style Magazine.
