Ugochukwu C. Nzeako, MD, MPH, is a board-certified gastroenterologist serving patients of all backgrounds. He’s one of the highly respected team leaders at Peak Gastroenterology Associates, with locations in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Salida, Denver, Woodland Park, and Parker, Colorado. 

Dr. Nzeako graduated from medical school at the University of Nigeria. He then came to the United States to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, Connecticut. After his residency, he obtained further specialized training during gastrointestinal medicine fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, New York, and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Nzeako works with the team at Peak Gastroenterology Associates to cater to the diverse needs of his patients. He develops personalized treatment plans that help address a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including autoimmune disorders, liver diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease. He uses both conservative and minimally invasive surgical techniques to deliver the best possible result and restore his patients’ overall quality of life.
