Dr. Herman Suga earned his medical degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina, graduating with honors. He went on to complete his residency at Jefferson Health in New Jersey, where he also pursued his gastroenterology fellowship.
To further specialize in complex gastrointestinal care, Dr. Suga completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago, a program known for its emphasis on innovative, minimally invasive techniques. During this training, he gained extensive hands-on experience in endoscopic mucosal resection, endoluminal stenting, and a wide range of advanced therapeutic procedures.
