Madhu Iyengar, MD, is a double board-certified gastroenterologist on the team of providers at Peak Gastroenterology Associates. The practice has six conveniently located offices throughout Colorado, in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Salida, Denver, Woodland Park, and Parker.

Dr. Iyengar specializes in treating general GI conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). He’s also renowned for his abilities in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Dr. Iyengar is from Colorado and went to Highlands Ranch High School. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas, graduating in the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.

He then went on to complete an internal medicine residency at the Keck Medical Center of USC in Los Angeles, where he served as chief resident. After his residency, he went to the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, California, where he completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

Dr. Iyengar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is excited to return to the South Denver area and looks forward to working with new patients.
