Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, her special interests include diseases of the esophagus, stomach, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreaticobiliary disease, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer screening.

Dr. Ramachandran earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Davis, in Davis, California. In 2005, she left her native California for Henderson, Nevada, to study at Touro University Nevada College (TUN) of Osteopathic Medicine. 

After completing her medical degree at TUN, she moved to the Metro Detroit area with her husband to further her medical training. First, Dr. Ramachandran performed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Then, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at St. John Oakland Hospital, located in Madison Heights, Michigan. 

Today, Dr. Ramachandran lives in the South Denver area with her husband and their son and their dog, Ruby. When she isn’t caring for patients and their GI tracts, she enjoys traveling, attending fitness classes, and reading fantasy fiction.
